NORDIC CO-PRODUCTION MARKET: CALL FOR PROJECTS

DEADLINE: 6 JUNE 2023

For projects in development. We will select around 20 film projects looking for co-producers and co-financing. The projects will be pitched towards co-producers, film funds, international sales agents and distributors. The presentations will be followed up by tailormade individual one-on-one meetings.

Eligible applicants

All production companies with film projects connected to the Nordic countries are eligible to apply if the story is set in the Nordic countries or if the producer is specifically seeking a Nordic co-producer.

Project criteria

• Project in development
• Full-length feature film
• Suitable for international circulation
• Completed screenplay in English (preferably)
• Production budget: moderate
• 30 % of the budget already covered (preferably)
• Company must have completed one international co-production (preferably)

Project submission 

• Fully comleted submission form
• Treatment in English

FOR FILMS SELECTED TO THE NORDIC CO-PRODUCTION MARKET WE OFFER: 

• 2 nights accommodation for director and producer during New Nordic Films

• Free festival and market accreditation for producer and director

• Opportunity to present your film amongst leading industry figures and fellow filmmakers

• Description of your film in the New Nordic Films catalogue and web site

• Tailormade one-on-one meetings.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: WORKS IN PROGRESS

Work in Progress is a section for feature films currently shooting or in post-production.

Eligible applicants

• All production companies based in the Nordic countries or who is co-producing with the Nordic countries are eligible to apply.

Project criteria:

• Full-length feature film
• Suitable for international circulation
• In post-production or currently shooting
• Produced or co-produced in a Nordic country

Project submission must contain:

• Completed online submission form 
• Treatment or synopsis of the film
• Link to film clips
• Link to trailer/teaser (if available)
