Awards

Storyline Production Award   

Storyline Studios will generously present a prize of NOK 250 000 (approx. € 21 000) to be used for camera equipment rental and grading services to the best project at the Nordic Co-Production Market August 26. The winner will be decided upon by a jury.

Best Pitch Award  

The Best Pitch Award values the best pitch performance as well as the overall best project in the Nordic Co-production Market. The winner will be invited to participate in the Producers Network at Marché de Film during Cannes Film Festival 2027. The winner is selected by a jury.

MIDPOINT Talent Award

We are proud to introduce a brand-new award for projects in the Nordic Co-Production and Finance Market.

The MIDPOINT Talent Award offers an in-depth online script consultancy with one of the MIDPOINT Institute’s expert tutors.

The award is presented in collaboration between New Nordic Films and MIDPOINT Institute.

Next Nordic Generation Award   

The Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund has always had a strong Nordic profile and manifests itself as one of the most important meeting places for the Nordic professional film industry, through our official program and our Nordic film market New Nordic Films. We are proud to present new talents in the Next Nordic Generation, a competition program during the Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund. A curated selection of newly made student films from the Nordic film students is presented. The competition program is reserved for film schools that are members of Nordicil (Nordic Network for Film Schools).
