NORDIC CO-PRODUCTION MARKET: CALL FOR PROJECTS FROM THE UK

Call for UK Producers with projects 

Are you a UK producer looking for co-producers and co-financing in the Nordic countries? This year, we are focusing on the UK in collaboration with the BFI. Our Call for Submissions for British projects in development, with a connection to the Nordic countries, is now open!

The projects will be presented at the Nordic Co-Production Market on Wednesday August 21st. The target audience is co-producers, film funds, international sales agents, and distributors. After the presentations, tailor-made individual one-on-one meetings will follow.

Eligible applicants

Production companies based in UK

Project criteria

• Project in development
• Full-length feature film
• Suitable for international circulation
• Completed screenplay in English (preferably)
• Production budget: Moderate
• 30 % of the budget already covered (preferably)
• Company must have completed one international co-production (preferably)
• Project must have a link to one or several Nordic countries

Project submission 

• Fully completed submission form
• Treatment in English

FOR UK FILM PROJECTS SELECTED TO THE NORDIC CO-PRODUCTION MARKET WE OFFER: 

• 3 nights accommodation for director and producer during New Nordic Films
• Free travel to Haugesund

• Free festival and market accreditation for producer and director

• Opportunity to present your film amongst leading industry figures and fellow filmmakers

• Description of your film in the New Nordic Films catalogue and web site

• Tailormade one-on-one meetings.
