André Vargas

André Michel Vargas is the Chief Data Officer at leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA). With more than 24 years of experience in complex program delivery and analytics, André is responsible for the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap of CAA’s industry-leading data intelligence division known as CAA Data. Its teams focus on Engineering, Science, Analytics, Management, and Insights, and each branch plays an integral role in giving CAA an unmatched competitive advantage in understanding talent, buyers, and audiences, as well as furthering the agency’s commitment to making data-driven decisions. 

Prior to joining CAA in 2011, André worked in management consulting at PA Consulting Group, where he was the Head of Business Intelligence & Analytics for North America. His team focused on the delivery of large complex technology programs and implementing business intelligence and analytics for companies in Europe and the U.S. across a diverse range of industries including healthcare, telecommunications, utilities, and media & entertainment. 

André received his master’s degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
