Storyline Studios Presents Pitching Award in Haugesund

Storyline Studios' Production award at New Nordic Films is a prize of € 25 000 to be used for camera equipment rental and grading services to one project in Haugesund.  

Storyline Production Award goes to the best project of the Nordic Co-Production Market set during the Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund, August 25–28. The winner of the Storyline Production Award 2026 is ANATHEMA by Ea Johanne Sandberg and Alpha Nord, produced by Anne Borggaard Sørensen og Janne Hjeltnes for Empathitude. The jury consisted of film Annick Mahnert (Fantastic Fest, Frontières Co-Production Market), Sona Morgenthalová (at MIDPOINT Institute), Iris Cadoux (at Eurimages) og Kalle Løchen.

The Nordic Co-Production Market is an exciting meeting point for bold new stories, and with the Storyline Production Award we want to give the winner access to the cameras, color grading, and expertise that have helped bring many acclaimed Nordic films to life, says Vidar Grande, Post Producer at Storyline Studios.

21 projects in development from 6 countries were pitched at the 21st Nordic Co-Production Market in Haugesund, which had a special focus on the France this year. The winner of Storyline Production Award will be announced during the Festival’s Award Ceremony on Thursday night. 

Storyline Studios is one of the largest rental and post-production facilities across Scandinavia, offering facilities and technical expertise for film, television, and commercial productions. Storyline has contributed to a wide range of Nordic and international projects.
