Summer is here! Emma randomly meets a tight knit gang of high schoolers at a forest rave. They have created a space where they can truly be themselves – all backgrounds, genders and sexualities are welcome. Going from one party to another, she soon becomes part of the group in their search for new highs and their place in society. Blomster is an associative, hallucinatory and fun film where a hyper-connected generation takes a break from their screens.
Neil Wigardt continues his exploration of the theme of youth. He holds a BA in film from Academy Valand and his award-winning film Knaster has screened at Tempo, GIFF and Amandus. With a background as an editor, current projects include All we own by Emily Norling (2019), Lucky One by Mia Engberg (2019) and the forthcoming Ultras by Ragnhild Ekner. Neil is currently directing his debut feature Blomster.
