Director
Klaus Härö is one of Finland’s most respected filmmakers. His film The Fencer (2015) was nominated for the Golden Globes and Oscar shortlisted in the Best Foreign Film Category. Four of his ten films have represented Finland in the Best Foreign Film Category at the Oscars. Härö's films have won more than 70 festival awards including the Crystal Bear at the Berlin Film Festival and the prestigious Ingmar Bergman award, the winner of which was chosen by Ingmar Bergman himself.
