Kate lives happily with her husband and their daughter while simultaneously sharing a romantic relationship with another man. After years of secrecy, the fragile balance of her double life begins to unravel. Director
Maria Bäck is a Swedish-Danish director and screenwriter. As a small kid she started writing diaries, a habit that led her into poetry, dance, journalism, photography, psychology, and, later, filmmaking. She is currently developing her fourth feature film while expanding Brave New Love into a novel.
