Sasja and Olivia have found themselves in a tricky situation both as a couple and as individuals. He is bored in his job as a health inspector, while her dreams of becoming an artist never seem to blossom. When Sasja begins an affair, and is afraid that Olivia will never forgive him, he sets in motion a plan. To assuage his guilt, he plans for her to be unfaithful too, in the hope that they will then forgive each other. But things don't quite go as planned. The Greenest Grass is a warm and sharp romantic comedy set in Malmö. Director Kim Sundbeck combines classic rom-com energy with a modern look at love and self-deception. This is a funny and poignant film about unexpected feelings.
