IDENTICAL 13-YEAR-OLD TWIN GIRLS don’t know who their father is. They are done listening to their mother’s stories about their pilot father and want to find him. Their search leads to Tinke, an alcoholic, who lives at a Salvation Army housing unit and is helped by his friend Veikko. Tinke is overjoyed by the prospect of becoming a father. Saimi, the mother, wants none of this. Veikko does not know what to do with Tinke’s health turning from bad to worse, and with Saimi pleading with him to stop the inevitable from happening.
