Letting go of other people's expectations and finding your own

The 29-year-old Maja has had a breakthrough as a musician. But after her time in the spotlight, she has now hit a wall. She is forced to put her career on hold and returns home to her mother without income, direction or faith in herself. She starts a new everyday life with a part-time job at the local high school, but the depression is still there and she must now figure out a new life. The film depicts how dreams can become a burden when expectations become greater than the person behind it can bear. This is a beautiful story that is both painful and relatable, about mental health and the possibility of building a life on other premises than success and achievement.
