Helena is a professional ambulance worker known for her calmness and ability to handle crises. Paradoxically, she struggles emotionally with her teenage daughter Stefi, who has become rebellious and self-destructive. She skips school and ends up in a violent youth gang. One day she disappears completely and her mother searches the entire city for her. But when she learns that Stefi has ended up in the hospital after an overdose, a desperate and drastic plan forms in Helena's mind to get her daughter back on her feet. The film delves into the collapsing boundary between her desperate imagination and reality, forcing Helena to confront the blurred line between love, control and delusion. It is a thriller about emotional distance and how family bonds can deteriorate.
