A beautiful story of grief, which unfolds over a long summer day in Reykjavik.

Director Rúnar Rúnarsson condenses a chain of disturbing events into one summer day, when he takes us to Iceland and to the characters Una (Elín Hall) and Diddi (Baldur Einarsson). No one knows that they are together, as he has not broken up with his girlfriend Klara (Katla Njálsdóttir). Suddenly a tragedy occurs, and Una has to process many conflicting and complicated emotions. The raw cinematography utilizes the natural light to enhance the film's emotional tone. The interplay between light and shadow is not only visually arresting, but also symbolic of Una's inner struggles and gradual emergence from the darkness of grief. This is a deep and emotional exploration of relationships, loss and individual growth.
