Pauli is a successful flutist who returns to his hometown after having a mental breakdown and giving up his career. He reconnects with Iiris, an old school friend who makes experimental, noise-based music. Fascinated by her informal approach, Pauli gradually puts his perfectionism behind him and joins her in sonic, improvisational collaborations. Here we see an introspective exploration of creativity and music as therapy. The film implements dreamlike amateur exercises in a small-town setting and premiered in the ACID sidebar at Cannes 2025. This is a perfect symphony of subtle characters and dynamic sound design.
