This coming-of-age drama centers on 19-year-old Polish immigrant Robert working at a fish factory in Norway struggling with his feelings for a fellow colleague Ivar, especially when it turns out Ivar is an aspiring drag queen. The project received an honorable mention for the pitch at The Norwegian Film Festival 2020, and recently won best pitch award at the Work-in- Progress section at New Horizons Film Festival 2022 in Poland.
Director
LEIV IGOR DEVOLD is a Polish-Norwegian director graduated from the Polish National Film School in Łódź. He debuted in Norwegian cinemas with the documentary The Accidental Rock Star (2015), which won the Amanda award in Haugesund for best editing, and at Kosmorama International film festival it won the audience award for best Norwegian film in cinemas 2015 as well as best sound. Igor has made several shorts and documentaries presented internationally. He is an associate professor in film at NTNU, and head of the Norwegian Guild of Directors.
