Observing life behind CCTV screens
Soft Armor is a coming-of-age film about existing but not interacting with the world you live in, then meeting someone doing the opposite, and through them finding the courage to live your own life and challenge the world.
A lonely security guard, Robin, sits behind CCTV screens and observers a life that she is not a part of. She is pulled away from her monotonous routine when she discovers that an abandoned warehouse nearby is being occupied by a queer performance group. Gradually approaching the group, a sense of belonging arises in her. In contrast to Robin, the group insists on being loud and visible, but as time passes it appears that this takes a toll on them.
