Ruth is a Greenlandic woman who has been imprisoned for over a decade with an indeterminate sentence, trapped in legal limbo. Her life changes when Nina, a participant in a prison film project, begins to visit her regularly. Despite their vastly different life circumstances, a deep friendship is formed, rooted in shared trauma and mutual understanding. Through intimate conversations, the two women confront past abuse, motherhood, and systemic failure. Their developing bond becomes a powerful catalyst for healing and regaining agency in a broken system. Set against the harsh landscape of Nuuk Prison, this documentary reflects Greenland’s unique legal system and illuminates themes of empathy and traum
