Aino (38), a broke-ass mental health nurse who hates the rich, prepares a performance with her patients for TV’s Talent competition. But when she falls in love with one of the patients, wealthy investment consultant Mikael (38), Aino has to learn that in order to be loved you have to dare to reveal yourself with all your craziness.
Director
Miia Tervo is an award-winning Finnish director who grew up by the Arctic Circle in Lapland. After studying poetry and working in a fish factory in Norway, she studied documentary filmmaking in Helsinki. Her shorts screened at major festivals including IDFA and Torino, with The Little Snow Animal (2009) earning an EFA nomination. Her features Aurora (2019) and The Missile (2024) premiered at Gothenburg and won international acclaim. Her third feature, You Crazy Thing, was selected for the Berlinale Co-Production Market and won the pitching prize in Gothenburg 2025.
